CAPPO President's Message - December 2025
The season of giving is here and as public employees we already know about giving our time and efforts to the communities we serve. As part of CAPPO we also give our knowledge and support to each other through local meetings, training events, CAPPO Connect, CAPPOcafe, and of course our annual conference. CAPPO also gives and receives support through our partner organizations for the benefit of our membership and the public procurement profession.
Is it easy? Rarely! The challenges of life always seem to be there and remind us that there’s more to the world than our little part. But that part is important, and I hope that we never lose sight of what it means to be in a group as wonderful as CAPPO.
So, as the season takes hold, please take a little time to reflect on what is important to you and others, such as family, friends, colleagues, or even strangers in need. But don’t forget to take care of yourself as well. Those same people are there for you!
I wish everyone the very best during these holidays.
I also greatly look forward to seeing you in San Diego on February 1-4 for CAPPO26. Let’s celebrate a wonderful year for CAPPO and kick off another amazing one in 2026-2027!
