2025 Golf Tournament at
Bing Maloney Golf Course

Golf Times: Shot Gun Starts Sharply at 9:00 am

Note: All participants should plan to arrive by 8:00 am (this includes driving range time if needed. Course opens at 6:00 am)

Includes: Cart, Range Balls, BBQ Lunch (Club rentals available onsite, call course in advance to make separate arrangements)

Game Type: 4-Person Scramble 18 Holes

• Check-In at the CAPPO Registration Table
• Practice Range Balls will be provided
• Teams will be released at 10-minute intervals

THE RULES:

• 4-person team members play their tee shot on each hole.
• The best of the 4 tee shots (as determined by the team) is marked, and all 4 players get to play their 2nd shots from that location.
• The team then plays their next shot from the best location of the prior shot until the team finishes the hole.
• This process is continued each hole until the round ends and a score is posted.
• Please note that the team uses the same process once on the green, making birdies much more common than a normal round.

Capitol Park Tour

Date: Sunday, January 12, 2025

Cost: $5 (to be donated to the park)

Capacity Limit: 50 attendees

This is a 90-minute guided tour through one of the most beautiful State Capitol grounds in the nation. Immerse yourself in the rich history and the lush gardens of this iconic location. Discover trees and shrubs from around the globe in this 40-acre urban park. Hear fascinating stories about the memorials and monuments dedicated to California’s heroes. Be sure to dress appropriately for this outdoor activity.

11:00 AM // Get yourself to 13th Street and Capitol Avenue (Hiram Johnson Parkway) inside the park directly behind the Capitol. There will be two guides waiting for our CAPPO group.

Sac Tiki Boat Tour

Date: Sunday, January 12, 2025

Times: 2:45 PM - 4:30 PM

Cost: $45

Capacity Limit: 36 attendees

Enjoy this 90-minute guided tour on a Tiki Boat. Be sure to bring you favorite adult beverages and snacks. And be sure to dress appropriately for this outdoor activity

Craig Rader Memorial Run / Walk

Date: Tuesday, January 14, 2025

Times: 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM

Donation: $25

Join us on Tuesday morning in the Hyatt Regency Lobby to participate in the Craig Rader Memorial Run / Walk.  Proceeds will be donated to River City Food Bank.We set up a minimum $25 donation but you can of course contribute more by increasing the quantities.

The route is 1.5 miles out to old town Sacramento and back.  Those walking will be provided a few different points to turn around, if they elect.

Sac BrewBike Tour

Date: Tuesday, January 14, 2025

Times: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Cost: $35

Capacity Limit: 45 attendees

Come join the fun with friends and colleagues on this two-hour party with Sac Brew Bike Tour as we bar hop. A great way to end the day or start a party. The bonus with this tour is we get to bring our own favorite adult beverages and snacks on board the bike tour. And be sure to dress appropriately for this outdoor activity, cooler evening.

6:00 PM // Meet in the lobby at the Sheraton Grand Hotel. We will start and end our Sac Brew Bike Tour party at the hotel.
