Shoaib Ahrary is a Senior Civil Engineer with the City of Elk Grove’s Public Works Department. He oversees the Construction Management Section which provides oversight of construction phase for City’s Capital Improvement Projects. Mr. Ahrary has over 14 years of experience in public infrastructure projects both in public and private sectors. Mr. Ahrary holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UC Davis and a Master’s in Business Administration from Drexel University. Prior to coming to Elk Grove, Mr. Ahrary oversaw the Design Division at Stanislaus County Public Works where he was responsible for project development and delivery including advertising and bidding. Mr. Ahrary was selected to lead the City’s efforts in transitioning Public Works Department from paper bidding to online bidding. Kim Brown, City of Elk Grove
Kim Brown is the CIP Coordinator with the City of Elk
Grove’s Public Works Department. Kim prepares the bid documents, advertises
projects, reviews the bids received, and coordinates with Project Managers and
City Staff on award recommendation. Kim has over five years’ experience as a
