More than 100,000 New York City employees and their families now have free access to online tools and expert guidance to help enroll in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program and Income-Driven Repayment plans. Through a cooperative purchasing contract with Sourcewell, the city partnered with awarded supplier Summer PBC to launch the largest municipal debt relief program of its kind in the U.S., offering an easier path to an estimated $360 million in forgiveness. The program supports public employees’ financial wellness, helps the city attract top talent, and keeps more dollars in the local economy.
