CAPPO Volunteer Leadership Opportunity -  Partnership Liaison

CAPPO is seeking a volunteer to serve a three-year term as the Partnership Liaison. Being a volunteer can be, professionally and personally rewarding.  This position provides the opportunity  to explore how one's experience and expertise can be utilized to promote the CAPPO’s mission and strategic plan.

As a CAPPO volunteer, there are opportunities to engage with other members, meet new people, establish friendships of a lifetime with peers and connect with the CAPPO community inclusive of Partners, suppliers, and sister collegial associations.   This volunteer position includes paid travel to future CAPPO conference locations, where the days are filled with planning meetings, and the evenings allow for downtime and relaxation with fellow committee members, and discovering what those venues have to offer in dining and entertainment.

1. Partnership Liaison Overview – The Partnership Liaison will support and promote the development of the CAPPO Partnership Program. The Partnership Liaison is the face of CAPPO to the Supplier Partners. The liaison will be appointed by the CAPPO Board for a term of three years with the option for an additional term:
   • 2024 – 2025 (2025 Conference)
   • 2025 – 2026 (2026 Conference)
   • 2026 – 2027 (2027 Conference)
2. The appointed Partnership Liaison will officially begin after the 2024 Conference. However, the liaison will be expected, upon appointment, to develop a working knowledge of the partnership program through participation in the current communications for the 2024 Partnership Program. The liaison will work with the current Partner Liaisons from August 2023 (or sooner) through the 2024 CAPPO Conference & Expo in Palm Springs. 
3. Partnership Program Overview – The Partnership program was implemented by CAPPO in 2014.The program has expanded and grown significantly over the years. For 2023, there were 45 Partners and the revenue generated from the program was $210,000.Click here to review the Partnership Program Benefits Matrix provides the details for each level.
