CAPPO is seeking nominations for the 2020/2021 CAPPO Board of Directors for the term starting

February 2020 following the conference. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, September 13, 2019

The Board welcomes members that are interested in becoming more involved in the CAPPO organization at the state level.

This is a great time to consider serving on the CAPPO Board.  With so much going on in the public procurement industry you will have the amazing opportunity to be at the forefront of it all, fingers on the pulse, so-to-speak, all while helping to influence the direction of our organization.  Now, mid-way through my final year on board, I can say that the “return on investment” from serving on the Board is real and positive.

To get a feel for responsibilities and expectations, I encourage those interested in serving on the Board of Directors to read through the Bylaws and the CAPPO Policies & Procedures.  Both documents are available to download from the CAPPO website.  In addition, I recommend discussing your interest with current and former CAPPO Board members in order to learn more about the commitment and their experiences.

Three board positions are filled each year:

Two (2) Director positions – one (1) from the north & one (1) from the south

One (1) Executive Officer position - Secretary/Treasurer (this election from the south)
