UPPCC was established in 1978.  It has certified over 14,500 public procurement professionals (CPPO & CPPB) in 8 countries, 10 provinces and territories in Canada, and in the 53 of the states and territories of the United States.  In 2022, 35 Californians earned their CPPO or CPPB certifications (Spring 2022, Fall 2022)

• What am I tested on?
  • Through extensive research and data gathering, the UPPCC has issued an updated Body of Knowledge & Competency (BoK-C) document for both the CPPO and CPPB.It contains six domains with approximately 75 competency statements that are the basis for each exam.
  • The competency statements are the source for all questions so the BoK-C is the key document for understanding what is on the exam and for determining the areas of focus for your customized study plan
