For over one hundred years, CAPPO has been providing an opportunity for our supplier partners to engage and share market information with public procurement professionals in California. The 104th annual Conference and Expo, CAPPO’s keystone event, is scheduled for January 5 and 6, 2021 in Monterey, CA. Due to the pandemic, CAPPO is focused on innovative ways to connect our members with our valued suppliers.  The event in Monterey will be a hybrid conference and expo.


We have revised the traditional expo hall to be consistent with appropriate public health requirements by reducing the number of available booths from 170 to 93.  Typically, we have over 500 CAPPO members attend the conference.  This year we expect to be limited by public health requirements to half this number; ultimately public health requirements will dictate the number of delegates allowed on site.


CAPPO is excited to expand the traditional onsite expo by including a virtual expo experience for CAPPO members that are not able to attend the conference in person. CAPPO will be able to reach a greater number of our 1800+ members with the added virtual option.  As a CAPPO Partner, an on-site booth and a virtual booth are included in your 2021 partnership. This will allow you to reach CAPPO members that will be attending in-person and those that will attend virtually.  New this year, the CAPPO Board has approved a new partnership level, Gold Plus.  See our Supplier Expo Brochure that includes details about the partnership options.  


We are very excited about the platform selected for the virtual aspect of the expo.  It is not just a directory, but rather a dynamic interactive and customizable virtual expo experience. CAPPO will provide incentives to encourage virtual members to engage with you in your virtual booth.  Demonstrations of the platform have been scheduled first and third Tuesday of September and October at 1:00 PST. If you would like more information on the virtual booth experience, please register for the time that works best for you by clicking on the links below.



Training on setting up your virtual booth in the platform will be available through the software provider at a later time providing the opportunity to maximize the virtual experience for both you and the attendees. If you would prefer to only participate in the virtual booth option only, the cost is $850.


While the pandemic has devastated everyone from those living in major cities to small rural townships, it has also shone a bright light on the important contributions and work that public procurement professionals do to support our agencies and communities in assisting COVID-19 response and recovery efforts.  Your company is an essential resource in helping procurement professionals meet their agency needs.

Supplier Networking Mixer

As an exhibiting supplier, you are encouraged to attend the Supplier/Attendee networking mixer for additional opportunity to develop relationships with attendees in a less formal setting.  The cost is an additional $75 per person and may be purchased when you process payment of your booth space.



ATTENTION EXHIBITORS - AVOID SCAMS: The only approved vendors by CAPPO are Tri-Cord Expo Services, Portola Hotel, Monterey Marriott, Monterey Conference Center, Active Event Technology (Lead Retrieval), & PSAV. Any other vendors contacting you to book rooms or sell attendee lists are fraud. We will not directly contact you to book your room or sell you an attendee list!
