Be sure to read all policies carefully and call if you need clarification, as there are some changes to our systems this year.

 

 

Registration Costs:

 

IN-PERSON Deluxe Full Conference (Monday January 4th  - Friday January 8th )

  • Includes choice of full-day or multiple half-day workshops on Monday
  • Includes attendance at all conference training and events through noon on Friday
  • Includes lunch on Monday and all meals provided for the Standard Traditional Conference Registration
  • Access to recordings of all concurrent sessions (estimated at 28 - 36 total sessions) for up to 30 days post event - that is access to a total of 28 continuing education hours ($15/CEH)
  • Member Registration - $475
  • Non-Member Registration - $605*
    (*$130 of the non-member registration fee may be applied to CAPPO membership - to have this applied, you must go online and apply for membership and we will then connect your transactions together. If you are a current member, wishing to renew your membership do not select this option as it will duplicate your profile. You may select to renew your membership during the registration process)

 

IN-PERSON Standard Traditional Conference (Tuesday January 5th  - Friday January 8th )

  • This package does not include Monday sessions
  • Begins with Opening Ceremony and Keynote Speaker "Jose Moreno Hernandez" on Tuesday morning
  • Includes attendance at all conference training and events beginning Tuesday and continuing through noon on Friday
  • Includes lunch- Tuesday (Partner Recognition), Wednesday (Supplier Expo) & Thursday (AEP Awards)
  • Includes dinner - Tuesday (Networking Event) & Thursday (Members Banquet)
  • Access to recordings of all concurrent sessions (estimated at 28 - 36 total sessions) for up to 30 days post event - that is access to a total of 28 continuing education hours ($15/CEH)
  • Member Registration - $425
  • Non-Member Registration - $555*
    (*$130 of the non-member registration fee may be applied to CAPPO membership - to have this applied, you must go online and apply for membership and we will then connect your transactions together. If you are a current member, wishing to renew your membership do not select this option as it will duplicate your profile. You may select to renew your membership during the registration process)

Virtual Conference (Tuesday January 5th  - Friday January 8th )

  • This package does not include Monday sessions
  • Access to 3 Keynote speakers simulcast from Monterey (2 of 3 will also be recorded for access later)
  • Access to 4 sets of live concurrent sessions (20 total sessions)
  • Access to the virtual exhibit hall and networking lounges
  • Access to recordings of all concurrent sessions (estimated at 28 - 36 total sessions) for up to 30 days post event - that is access to a total of 28 continuing education hours ($10/CEH)
  • Member Registration - $299
  • Non-Member Registration - $429*

If you are a current member, wishing to renew your membership do not select this option as it will duplicate your profile. You may select to renew your membership during the registration process)

IN-PERSON ONLY - One-Day Registration - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

  • Member Registration - $150
  • Non-Member Registration - $280*

Individual Tickets are Available for Thursday January 7th Only - Call CAPPO to register for these a la carte tickets

By registering for this event, you and all participants you register are agreeing to CAPPO's conference terms and conditions.

 

Payment Policy – We accept payment in the form of a check (made payable to CAPPO), cashier’s check, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). All checks must be received in full by December 11, 2020  in order for an attendee’s registration spot to be guaranteed and not released to other potential attendees. We understand that many agencies pay for conference registrations through purchase orders. Please let your agency’s fiscal or business office know that the final payment form is due by no later than December 11, 2020.

 

Cancellation Policy:  All cancellations must be received in writing before December 1, 2020 and are subject to a $35 administrative fee. Cancellation received in writing by December 1, 2020 will be refunded less a $35 administrative fee. No refunds after December 1, 2020. Please send your cancellation request to admin@cappo.org

 

Substitution/Transfer Policy: Transfers made in writing prior to December 18, 2020 will be assessed a $35 administrative fee to transfer a registration to another individual. If you are transferring a member to a non-member attendee, the difference in registration fees will be charged as well. All name badges are prepared the week after pre-registration closes on December 14, 2020. Therefore, any transfer requests after December 18, 2020 should be brought to the registration desk onsite along with the $50 on-site substitution fee.

Only registered participants with their name badges are admitted to the exhibit area and convention activities.

 

Hybrid Conference Policies:

 

  1. Attendees and their guests are to treat all attendees, volunteers, and staff involved with the convention in a professional and courteous manner. Argumentative behavior, disruptive behavior, and any form of harassment is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
  2. By registering, you hereby authorize and grant CAPPO, the right to record all participants via screenshots, film, and/or video, along with editing the recorded conference into a photo gallery/short film/webinar, which may include other recordings and material. You also authorize and grant CAPPO the use of the name and likeness, voice, or other information concerning participants; and screen or place the recording/materials online, including social media.  
  3. Participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any CAPPO virtual event staff.
  4. Presentations, postings, and messages should not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitation for services except within the virtual exhibit hall by paid exhibitors. CAPPO reserves the right to remove such messages and potentially ban sources of those solicitations.
  5. Participants agree to not copy or take screen shots of Q&A or any chat room activity that takes place in the virtual space.
  6. Participants agree to not share (including live streaming) any portion of the presentations, handouts, recordings or conference materials with other individuals (who did not participate or register to participate in the event), unless specifically authorized by CAPPO and/or the Presenter.
  7. Presenters may express a wide variety of opinions and views which do not necessarily represent the opinions and views of CAPPO and/or you as an individual. The presenters were selected because of their expertise in their respective subject areas and to provide you with a diversity of views on a variety of topics to enhance your conference experience.


 LIABILITY POLICY / ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: By registering for this event, I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in all activities at CAPPO Events, including but not limited to, any risks that may arise from the negligence or carelessness of CAPPO, their subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, partners, contractors, agents, representatives, volunteers, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Host”) and/or from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, operated or controlled by the Host.

 

(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE the Host from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence of the Host or myself, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or any other damage or actions of any kind which may affect or impact me in any way arising from the Activity. 

 

(B) I INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the Host from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of my participation in the Activity, whether caused by the negligence of the Host, myself, or otherwise
