Regular Member:

Any state, county, municipal, special district, publicly owned utility, school or federal purchasing agent or employees with other titles spending the majority of their time on the purchasing function of their employing agency or subdivisions which is located within the boundaries of the State of California, upon payment of the annual membership fee, shall be eligible for Regular membership in this Corporation, subject however, to the approval of the Board of Directors.

Associate Member:

Online New Membership Application / Online Membership Renewal / Fax - Mail Membership Renewal Form

Any state, county, municipal, special district, publicly owned utility, school, or federal purchasing agent or employees with other titles spending the majority of their time on the purchasing function of their employing agency or subdivisions which is located outside the boundaries of the State of California, upon payment of the annual membership fee, shall be eligible for Associate (non-voting) membership in this Corporation, subject however, to the approval of the Board of Directors.

Retired Member:

Any retired member of this Corporation, upon payment of the annual retired membership fee, is eligible for this type membership with voice and vote in the Corporation.

Student Member:

Any full time college student majoring in the Purchasing or Business field and not working full time, upon payment of the annual membership fee, shall be eligible for Student (non-voting) membership in this corporation, subject however, to the approval of the Board of Directors.

Agency Membership:

Online Membership Renewal / Fax - Mail Membership Renewal Form

CAPPO offers an Agency Membership that is the same as a regular membership but the membership is retained by the individual's agency. Agency Memberships are billed under one invoice listing all members within the agency. This consolidated billing can save an agency considerable cost in preparing one payment versus payments for each individual. If Agency Billing is not requested, each applicant will be billed as an individual. Should the individual leave the agency and still be eligible for membership, they will need to submit a new application.

To obtain Agency Membership billing, please complete the online membership application linked above for all staff members to be included in the billing. All staff member information will be accepted with this form.
