2014 CAPPO CONFERENCE INVITATION TO OUR VALUED VENDORS
We are excited to announce the upcoming CAPPO Conference to be held at the beautiful Sheraton Resort on Harbor Island in San Diego in January 2014. We recognize the importance of our relationships with our vendors and wish to strengthen them by providing a unique opportunity for you to promote your organization to our membership. As a registered vendor you will receive either a booth or table location at the Vendor Exposition to showcase your company and will be eligible to participate in several networking events to personally meet our members and establish or strengthen relationships. Training will be provided to you by member agencies on how to effectively increase your business in the public sector and how to avoid pitfalls. We hope you can join us!
Who is CAPPO?
The California Association of Public Procurement Officials. It is composed of procurement directors, managers and buyers from cities, counties, utilities, ports, airports, colleges, school districts, etc. Current membership of nearly 1,100.

All events, except the Golf Tournament, will be held at the hotel. The only event held off site will be the Golf Tournament. The Vendor Exposition will held be in the 20,000 square foot (permanent) tent at the Sheraton and in the building directly across from it. Directly in front of the entrance of the tented site, between the two buildings, there is an open paved area where vehicles and equipment can be displayed.
All Vendors are invited to participate in the golf tournament. The golf course has not been selected at this time. This cost is not included in the registration cost. Cost: TBD
Ping Pong Tournament & Networking Event:
This event will include all registered vendors and members (family members are welcome). There will be prizes, music and lots of competition and fun. The hotel will have bar(s) set up.
Staying at the Sheraton Resort:
The hotel rate for vendors will be the same as for CAPPO attendees, $149.00 per night. Inform the hotel when registering that you are with the CAPPO Conference. All registered vendors are highly encouraged to stay at the Sheraton hotel on Tuesday night, 1/14/14. You are welcome to stay other nights also. We want to promote interaction between our vendors and our members.
